Chef Stephen Leggett has been cooking professionally for over 21 years, transforming a humble start as a dishwasher into a distinguished culinary career. He spent six years as Banquet Chef de Partie at the Sheraton Red Deer, where he had the privilege of working alongside celebrated chefs such as Massimo Capra, Michael Bonacini, and
James Olberg—experiences that refined his technique and deepened his passion for the craft.

Stephen has been part of the Red’s Diner family for 11 years, earning a reputation for his skill, leadership, and dedication to quality. His commitment was recognized last year when he was promoted to Corporate Executive Chef, where he now oversees the culinary vision across all locations. Away from the kitchen, Stephen has shared 17 wonderful years with his wife and is a proud father of two boys. An avid fisherman and enthusiastic Pokémon Go player, he finds balance and joy in both the outdoors and playful pursuits.
